In a small village called Sodeto, the entire town teamed up to buy tickets, at $26 each.

And they had the winning numbers. Actually, 1,800 people around Spain also had winning numbers, and will get pieces of the prize. But Sodeto will get the biggest chunk.

Everyone in town will get at least $130,000 . . . some of them way more, depending on how much money they threw in.

Except for one guy. Of the 70 households in Sodeto, 69 pitched in. One guy . . . Costis Mitsotakis . . . decided he didn't want to play. He gets NOTHING.

So far, Costis is seeing the bright side. He's been trying to sell some land without much luck. But since the lottery win, two of his neighbors have told him they want to buy it.
