The city of Fort Worth, Texas feels your pain. And they're thinking of doing something pretty aggressive about it.

The city is considering an ordinance where people could be fined for causing more than TEN MINUTES of noise at night.

So if someone's dog won't stop barking for 10 minutes . . . if they don't shut off their car alarm . . . or if they decide to listen to "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" at full volume . . . they could be hit with a fine.

There's no word on how big the fines might be. The Fort Worth City Council will decide on this by March.
